same style (mind bending overlapping squares) but with a more pronounced series of grandients. on the nerd level, the three gradients (each associated with a layer) sort of loop, such that one is cyan to yellow, one yellow to magenta, and one magenta to cyan (with black represented in the X). anyways, once i get there, i think ill be selling each variant, one bright CMYK, one “southwestern sunset” shall we say…

doesnt the bright one seem sort of mucha-like in its colors? i really like it.

Preview of a new potential product! Basically its just a nice cutlery tray, but im trying to see what i can build thats as minimal as possible (huh!) yet still effective at wranglin’ dem varmits!

Welcome, little white guy! He’s a “michael lax for copco” from who knows when, with a chip in his enameled lid, and chip in his wooden top (same fall?). These i dont mind, but for some reason i found it pertenant to note his ‘unperfectness,’ and thus is the nature of goodwill finds! And actually ive had him for a minute, its just that i wanted to test the “quick-photo” option on this new wordpress app ive got here. Swanky! Also hes sort of a thematic match to my enameled percolater (tea / coffee?)… so yeah.

oh i jest. it was actually a pretty easy mod; all i really had to do was cut down some stock to be symmetrical, decide where the center shelf would be be, and whack it a lot to make sure everything fit!

no so actually, whenever it got freezing cold at heidi’s her cats – Mitch, after Mitch Headberg, and Nikka (prounced “NEH-cuh”, after no one) – would congregate around whatever radiator was available. however, because their ridged tops are not really conducive to cat butts, they could only ever get so close, so heidi asked i make some sort of platform for them to chill out… er… warm up on.
