74 Lamp

Made from seventy four individual pieces, but only incoporating three interchangeable parts, the 74 Lamp was cut from a single peice of acrylic using one bit- and thus one run- on a CNC mill. The LED arrangement is such that the top is lit rose to accentuate its organic shape, while the bottom sports a ring of bright white LED's for directed illumination. Because of its design, this arrangement can be adjusted per customer for a variety of effects and patterns.

Impact:

Soft tooling allows each individual lamp to be tailored to the buyers needs (keeping overhead down, and waste minimized), while the LED's increases product life span and decrease energy use. Ships flat pack.
